Magnetic Island For Backpackpackers And Campers
Magnetic Island is the backpacker’s dream holidays. Unlike most other
destinations, where there is very little room for the budget traveler
except for very low-quality accommodations and activities, Magnetic
island offers exceptional value at very little cost. The shiny beaches
and the low-cost water sport activities make the budget visitor a happy

has luxurious rooms for couples and stylish dormitories for singles.
Features include an Island Bar. Visitors enjoy lying back and sipping
daiquiris, or grooving to the funky beats of local DJs. Supremely
located, the Base Magnetic Island is right on the beach. One can relax
on the seaside during the day and party without end at night. No
restrictions! The hostel often offers, “Steal deals” which includes
ferry fares, dorm room, and Internet access. Maggies Beach House
Located in the picturesque Horseshoe Bay, the Maggies Beach House is
only steps away from the beach. It is a very large backpackers
accommodation. The high-rise style building features an outdoor pool and
pool table. The dorm rooms are comfy and air-conditioned. Gecko’s Café
and Bar offers an evening meal for backpackers everyday for a few
dollars. Live music is available on weekends. Other facilities include
TV, Internet, public phones, fully equipped communal kitchen and dining
area.
 The Maggies Beach House is within walking distance of the best
walking trails and snorkeling locations. It is therefore an excellent

Bay, which has one of the most beautiful beachfronts of the island,
Travelers Backpackers Resort offers a tranquil and peaceful stay to the
visitors. The hostel has a swimming pool, bar and common area where
music is played throughout the day. The rooms have their own bathrooms
and are air-conditioned. Although it is quite a distance from the
Island’s main supermarket, Traveler Backpackers Resort is serviced by a
general store and a bar where food is served throughout the day and well

Although the Island does not offer that many backpacker accommodations,
there is always room at the above hostels at virtually any time of the
year. Backpackers can therefore be reassured that they can visit
Magnetic Island and enjoy the delights of tropical living at little cost
at any time they wish to visit.
